ABOUT ME
Hello I’m Zoe!
My yoga journey began as a teenager when I joined my Mum at a Hatha yoga class she attended regularly. What started as curiosity became a lifelong practice. Over the years I trained in classical yoga styles including Hatha and Ashtanga, I’ve also practiced Vinyasa, exploring the physical, mental and energetic aspects of each. Ashtanga yoga introduced me to arm balancing and handstanding which I incorporate into my regular personal practice.
Alongside yoga I trained in martial arts, aerobics and strength based gym work developing a broad and integrated understanding of how the body moves, adapts and performs under different physical demands. These diverse disciplines opened my eyes to the incredible intelligence of the human body and taught me what it truly needs to thrive.
Through years of consistent practice across modalities I came to understand that optimal movement isn’t about one method, it’s about integration.
The body needs flexibility, strength, mobility, joint stability and neuromuscular control. It needs a movement practice that not only builds capacity but also supports longevity and resilience - on and off the mat.
As I deepened my knowledge I found myself naturally bridging the gap between traditional yoga and modern movement science. This passion ultimately led me to become a certified yoga teacher, dedicated to helping others move better, feel stronger and live more connected to their bodies.
My classes combine yoga, mobility training, deep core and bodyweight strength work, drawing from both traditional and contemporary movement disciplines focusing on active flexibility and end range control, joint articulation and mobility drills for long term joint health, breath led movement to support nervous system regulation, bodyweight strength and functional movement patterns, proprioception and motor control to enhance physical awareness.
Each class is intelligently sequenced to create a balance between effort and ease, control and freedom, discipline and curiosity. I aim to help students build a practice that is sustainable, functional and tailored to real life - whether that means better performance in sport, injury prevention or simply being able to move well into older age.
I work with yoga practitioners wanting to improve mobility and strength, athletes seeking cross training support through mindful movement, office workers looking to reduce stiffness and build resilience and others who are curious about moving better and feeling more at home in their body.
No matter your background my goal is to meet you where you are, challenge you thoughtfully and support your progress with knowledge and intention.
Let’s work together, whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to deepen an established practice, my approach offers a unique blend of tradition and innovation. Together we’ll explore how to build a strong, mobile, functional body - one that supports you in sport, movement and life.
